They say if is good and cheap, it won't be fast;
if it's fast and good, it won't be cheap;
if it's cheap and fast, it won't be good...
this camera proves them wrong.
Plug and play on my eMac, skyping instantly.
It's hard to get it to position without a
tool to grip the butterfly screw, but it looks
like a star wars robot and is solid and heavy.

this one is just OKAY. it plugs and plays easily. but image quality is not too great. i actually prefer my 8-year old logitech to this one in term of image clarity when doing online sessions. i would say this is a good buy if you are looking for your first webcam cheap.

I was hesitant to buy this webcam because it was so inexpensive that it couldn't possibly perform. At the same time I wasn't risking much. Glad I made the purchase. Camera works fine. It takes a little care to insure the audio is working correctly, and the microphone is the weakest element of the webcam, but it is entirely functional for most basic communication purposes. Very solid feeling. LED lighting has limited range but does work. Try it.
